Slide 8-1. Typic Endoaquod. Ground-Water Podzol. Location: Coastal Plain, eastern North Carolina. Parent Material: Sandy Coastal Plain sediments. Horizons and Depths: A 0-15 cm (0-6"); E 15-36 cm (6-14"); Bh 36-63 cm (14-25"); Eb 63-76 cm (25-30"); Bgb 76-112 cm (30-44"). Note irregular boundary of lower E horizon.
