Slide 6-7. Typic Argiudoll. Brunizem. Location: Central Iowa. Parent Material: Loess. Horizons and Depths: A 0-43 cm (0-17"); BA 43-56 cm (17-22"); Bt1 56-91 cm (22-36"); Bt2 91-107 cm (36-42");Bt3 107 cm+ (42"+). Several krotovinas are visible. Major crops produced on this soil are corn (Zea mays), soybeans (Glycine max), alfalfa (Medicago sativa), clovers, and small grains. The scale is in feet (30 cm).
