Description
Description of slide: The boundary is demarcated by thick ferrans and argillans as well as a small zone of albic material. See schematic below: V-void, S-skeleton grain, A-argillan, F-ferran, ALĀ­ alban, BPF = bleached prism face.

Horizon sampled: 2Btx1 Depth sampled: 92-125 cm
Physical and chemical data available: C.F. = 27%; sand = 48%; clay = 23% (of fine earth); pH= 5.01, OC = 0.15%
Macromorphological description of horizon: 10 YR 4/6 and 7.5 YR 4/6 loam matrix; common medium 10 YR 6/1 and 7.5 YR 5/6 mottles adjacent to ped faces and stones; weak to moderate platy structure

Physiographic position: 13 m below the summit of a drumlin Topography and hill slope position: 3% west-facing slope Soil climatic data and/or soil water balance: Well drained
Vegetation: Orchard with 2- to 5-year-old dwarf apple trees and grass
