Micromorphological description of slide: Dense, incomplete, microlaminated clay infillings.
Data for the horizon
Horizon sampled: 2Btx1
Depth sampled: 61-100 cm
Physical and chemical data available: C.F.(entire sample) 29%; sand = 60%, clay = 10% (fine earth fraction); OC = 0.13%;
Macromorphological description of horizon: IOYR 4/3 to IOYR 5/3 fine sandy loam; weak fine platy overprinted by coarse prismatic structure
Physiographic position: 25 m east of the summit of a drumlin
Topography and hill slope position: 5% east-facing slope
Soil climatic data and/or soil water balance: Well drained
Vegetation: Abandoned orchard/pasture; first stage regrowth including poison ivy, blackberry, gray birch, and grass
