Slide 4-1. Limnic Medisaprist. Muck. Location: Southern Michigan. Horizons and Depths: Oa 0-63 cm (0-25"); Oi 63-76 cm (25-30"); C 76 cm+ (30"+). Highly decomposed muck overlies undecomposed peat at 63 cm (25") and marl at 76 cm (30"). The ruler is in six-inch (15 cm) segments.
