This scholarship is provided to a meritorious undergraduate student pursuing a career in agronomic, crop, or soil science. The scholarship consists of a certificate and a monetary award. Funding is administered by the Agronomic Science Foundation.

Nominator

  1. Members of this ASA, CSSA, SSSA Award Committee and the ASA, CSSA, SSSA Executive Committees are not eligible to be a nominator for this scholarship.
  2. The nominator will be a member of ASA, CSSA or SSSA.

Nominee

  1. Former recipients of this Award are not eligible.
  2. The nominee must be enrolled in a program at an accredited educational institution.
  3. The nominee will be an undergraduate student member (ASA, CSSA, or SSSA) pursuing a career in the agronomic, crop, or soil science of Freshman, Sophomore or Junior credit standing.
  4. The nominee will have earned a 3.5, or above, cumulative grade point average at the time that the application is submitted.
  5. Nominees will have participated in community, work, and/or campus leadership activities, particularly in agronomic, crop, or soil science.
  6. Identification of financial need will be taken into consideration.

Reference

  1. Members of this ASA, CSSA, SSSA Award Committee and the ASA, CSSA, SSSA Executive Committees are not eligible to be a reference for this scholarship.
