Slide 1-1. Mollic Albaqualf. Planosol. Location: Central Missouri. Parent Material: Loess. Horizons and depths: Ap 0-13 cm (0-5"); A 13-23 cm (5-9"); E 23-38 cm (9-15"); Bt 38-˜ 100 cm (15-˜39"). The clay content in this pedon ranges from 16 percent in the Ap to 59 percent in the Bt horizon. The scale is in inches (2.5 cm).
